I loved staying at Haus Alpengruss in Seefeld; you can rent a nice apartment that i think is within your budget with a mountain view.

I would stay in an apartment, so you can eat in or out, and it easier if you have young children.

Seefeld has a pedestrian only center - several cafes/restaurants as you walk to trails.
The scenery is great.
Nice ice rink- pool - and some downhill skiing if interested. Website will show areas.
Leutasch is also nice but more spread out ... more
