Manteo is a dog friendly town also. Many of the galleries and shops will welcome your pup, as will the restaurants with outdoor dining.
Most stores are open 10:00 am to 5:00pm. Many are closed on Sunday.

I have a friend who lives there...the condos are really nice. The grounds are kept well and the surroundings are beautiful. They have a great pool and they offer a lot of daily activities for kids and adults. It's a great location for visiting all the OBX locations. ... more
