... a shack or holiday home/apartment anywhere you'll more than likely end up spending the evening with your neighbours ! Places such as Emu Bay, Island Beach etc are very friendly. If you stay in a campground everyone will probably mingle with everyone else on New Years Eve as that ... more

... too good on driving time- but i Think probably about 50 minutes. Yes you would need to be self sufficient for food at Hanson Bay. And yes I think for a week I would choose two different locations. Another option is the Ozone apartments in Kingscote- but NOT the hotel ... more

It is almost new, spotlessly clean and has a good kitchen. Emu Bay is 20 minutes drive from Kingscote where there is a good supermarket and a laundrette. Don't miss ... more

... across the road is the Apartment section which is very new and modern. I don't think one can write the Ozone off as "old" as this new section is more than modern and adequate in its furnishings. The Willows is practically right next door to the ozone apartments .. being self ... more

... options. The Aurora is an apartment complex in Kingscote.. quite new and walking distance to everything including the pelican feeding and penguins across the road. It is however, in a town so whilst you get the central location you dont get the spectactular views and beaches that you would at ... more
