I stayed in a chalet in the Balcons ... ... blue run out of the chalet and down ... ... to Belle Plagne.
The Balcons chalets are in a fantastic location for intermediate skiers. I'd say the only let down is that the boot room is very basic - no heated boot warmers in ... more

I'm looking to book a chalet in La Plagne 1800 with Silver Ski, www.silverski.co.uk , and would appreciate any positive or negative reports of people's experience with them. Has anyone used them?

... we stayed with them the chalet hosts were not so good - he liked a big drink a little too much! and the food was not brilliant. The flights were good and on time and the transfer was good, organising lift passes on the coach and having them in the chalet early afternoon ... more

... any one recommend good catered chalet accomodation, suitable for kids and in which village?
Ideally we would like to ski in/ski out or be very close to lifts as have children (8 & 14) who have only skied/boarded once, would also like to be walking distance to a village ... more
