If you're not too fussed about the centre of Ayr and want a bit more countryside then there is a holiday cottage just outside Crosshill village (near Maybole) at Kileekie Farm. Google "Kileekie Farm Cottage" and a phone number an a few pics come up if thats any help? ... more

... golf club next to the apartments and they do bar food which is fine enough. I think they have entertainment on there too in peak season, but we were there in March. We also managed to get a takeaway delivered to our apartment. And apparantly the restaurant in Dailly will ... more

I don't know the apartment, but I visit Troon about 6 times a year. I suppose it may have not very nice areas, but I'm not aware of them. This apartment is right in the centre, as it says,surrounded by cafes, shops,restaurants and pubs, the harbour ... more
