freedom holiday cottages are horrendously expensive it seems at over £1000 for a week... add that to the ferry price (coming in at over £400), and the price of 1 week in Jersey is looking like approx £2K all inc! Back to the drawing board it seems... thanks everyone who ... more

... they don't run the holiday cottages any more (and that they are now long lets) but do have the luxury apartments still. However at £1,200 pw in Sept I don't think so. Also the kids could only use the pool for one hour a day and not ... more

I would also recommend La Haule Manor - but you will need to go up stairs for a bedroom unless you go for the groundfloor apartment. Staff are great here as are the rooms and quality of breakfast. Have a look at the reviews. ... more

... it seems most properties get booked a year ahead by regular visitors. I will have a look at smaller apartments, thanks for your suggestion, we will also check out hotels, but not really keen as we like to go self-catering so we can keep the food costs down. :D ... more
