looking to bring the kids to snow this winter. Is there any better times for snow than others? any good places to go sledding ? also most importantly, arethere any nice, good cabins in this area to stay at ? looking forward to your reply and thanks in advance ... more

... pay attention to access. Many cabins are on steep dirt roads that don't get alot of snow clearance. 4 wheel drive is almost a must if you are staying off the main roads in Maggie Valley. In the valley, it shouldn't be a problem......Fie Top road to ... more

In the winter, the Ranch rents cabins only, without the meals or other activities (horseback riding, cookouts, etc...), that they provide in the summer ... more
