We're renting a condo in Montauk in July. If we don't have a beach parking permit, will we still be able to drive to beaches on the ocean or bays? I can't find clarification on town websites. Thanks. ... more

Rules look pretty clear here http://www.onmontauk.com/montauk-beaches.shtml You should ask the owners of the condo about this. They may be able to get you a pass. If the condo isn't that far from the beach you could walk or bike. ... more

Try Rushmeyers. It's not on the ocean but it's clean and not too expensive. That's if it's still in operation. It's been awhile. Also I think there is a place called the Montauk Inn or the Inn at Montauk. Nice. Condo's I think. ... more
