We usually have about 15 of us up there every year, and we typically rent out 2 condos and we stay with a friend who owns a condo. They're great. You may want to look into renting one of those. ... more

Saw some pictures of the area and was wondering what The Birches was. Is it a hotel or condo style place. All the other places to stay had been explained but this hadn't been.

I think there are two places called the Birches up there. I also found this place that is actually in Waterville Valley. Thronton is about 10-15 minutes west.

I would suggest staying at a condo or townhome since most B & B's are not geared to young children. You will have alot more space in a vacation rental for probably less money. If you need suggestions, please send an email off line.
