Do not know about vacation homes but we were there last year in Sept. and stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn. Had a nice breakfast each morning and night meal a couple of times. With a kitchen we could always fix what we wanted for lunch, etc. Fort Collins is ... more

Try the Poudre Canyon area or Red Feather Lakes. You might want to consider Estes Park as well. You are only an hour and 15 minutes from Fort Collins through scenic Big Thompson Canyon. As PeachBelle said, most people live in Fort Collins, not have a vacation home there. ... more
