Plenty of hotels still have smoking rooms, but one (of hundreds) to look at with balcony, location, views, quite nice amenities (no pool) and within budget, is the Baboona;

Hi,
all this hotels rooms are non smoking. Is the whole hotel non smoking and if not are you allowed to smoke on the balconies , just not in room?

You would not be allowed to smoke in a restaurant or bar that is airconditioned. The balcony should be OK. ... more

... far as I can remember, Areca lodge has a non-smoking policy inside the hotel, restaurant and pub.
You can smoke at the pool and at the beer bar at the entrance of the hotel.
They provide you with ashtrays in your room so you can smoke on the balcony ... more

I see people smoking at outside beer bars all the time. There are ashtrays on the tables and fans overhead. Some of the smaller enclosed bars allow smoking.
I never ... ... for elections with alcohol prohibited - you can still get drinks then. I imagine that smoking regulations are broken pretty often ... more

The law about non smoking was made only last year but now, about 90% of the bars will allow you to smoke. Some will give you an ashtray, some any empty coke can to use. In fact, the open air bars on Walking Street, where you can sit and "people ... more
