Where to stay in Blue Mountains?

I will be travelling with my folks to Blue Mountain from Sydney in February 2011.
I would like to get a 2 room apartment. Where is recommended?
Budget AUD200 a night for the apartment unit. Most importantly is clean.
Does YHA have apartment units?

I don't think the YHA does apartments as it is all about the meeting people thing. I took a Chinese group to the Katoomba YHA and they really enjoyed sharing the kitchen with all the Aussie family groups. ... more

most of the accommodation in Blue Mountain from my observation doesnt have apartment.
want to get apartment as we need to get 2 rooms and think that 2 rooms apartment will be cheaper.
any comments? ... more

... be prepared to consider an apartment? We recently stayed at Leisure Inn Spires at Leura, which met our requirements. They're clean and practical, but the word "cute" doesn't come to mind, if that's what you're thinking of! See:

... stay at upscale resorts or apartment style rentals that are family friendly. And most likely would bring a helper (nanny) with us to babysit at night... so definitely need minimum of 2 bedroom suite with another adjoining room or 2 adjoining rooms that each have separate bedroom/living areas.
