Generally I would recommend Waterfront Suites & Seaspray apartments as I know they are good quality, quite new, have aircon etc. They are both right on the main road through Paihia though, so not absolutely quiet all the time, but most of Paihia would suffer from some road noise. ... more

LOL - maybe it was the 5 star places that had all the aircon !! We stayed in self contained apartment type places around $NZ 200 a night and none even had a fan! But, we didn't need it, so all good. ... more

Hi Blue Pacific Apartments are close to Waitangi and beautiful. I stayed there while on my wedding night. You can easily walk to town from there but their prices may be a bit expensive at that time of the year. Copthorne Hotel is next door to the treaty grounds which ... more
