Take a look at chalet de neige website. Lovely decor and I think they do catered. Have stayed in one of their chalets although not catered. Most buildings in vt are ski in ski out or very close. The plain sud building is prob better for this as the flat ... more

Is Val Thorens good for family first time skiing?

I would not choose Val Thorens as a first time skiing holidays. I would choose a much more charming villages like Les Gets or Morzine, or even Chatel just near Switzerland. Val Thorens is more like a huge skiing resort with no trees, only building and some chalets... Belli ... more
