... for a decent luxury catered chalet, but the high-end tour ops seem happy just sticking with Val d'Isere. Anecdotally, Total, Esprit, Mark Warner, SkiWorld, Olympic, Crystal et al seem to be all pretty much on the same level in Tignes. I think booking late for the big discounts ... more

just got back from chalet amelie had a great time there was a group of 13 . lovely chalet very french and rustic . food was good always alovely cake in the afternoon. nice and close to the lift so i would say nearly ski in ski out . have a great time ... more

I stayed at Chalet Amelie, Tignes Le Lavachet in January this year and I can report that I had a wonderful time. The chalet was very homely and the chalet hosts simply could not do enough to assist. The ski area is fantastic and the chalet staff offer a day ... more
