... without lots of hills or steps to climb, as one of us has some walking issues....we have never been to Calabria, and would like some advice......we would prefer a cottage or apartment for two weeks, perhaps one week in two different locations.....any help would be appreciated....thanks ... more

... close to tropea. It has apartments right on ... ... which is I think 500 meters from their private beach but they have a free shuttle into Tropea and to the beach. We rented in the Hotel but they also have Apartments and this place was also very nice. Hope this helps ... more

... I suggest some not to go more than 100-150 km from Lamezia Terme airport. Tropea area is very nice. It dpends if you like the countyside or an apartment in or by a village. If you come for an inpection visit i can find an accomodation for you. Sal ... more

... or two. There are 2 villas at Zambrone, 10 mins from Tropea with pools open in May. One is even heated!! The second has a solar bubble cover, so it's not bad for swimming in early season. Porto Pirgos is in Zambrone - one of two 5 start hotels there ... more
