It is all stunning and the right villa at the right price might sway your choice, but... we love Praiano. Incredible sunsets, great small town feel and close to great sights. ... more

... like to see the magnificent villas of the ... ... the Vesuvian sites, the country villa at Boscoreale, I'd recommend taking a taxi from Pompei, rather than any of the trains. Whilst not as impressive as the others, it's interesting enough in its own way...

Is visiting Ravello need a tour or planning? We will be passing through coming up the coast and would like to see Villa Rufolo or Villa Cimbrone Gardens. Can we just park the car and walk around? Is there a fee? or is is public gardens? Thanks. ... more

Yes there is a public car park in Ravello - or just outside. The town itself is all pedestrian streets. The villas both have entrance fees. ... more
