A holiday on the sunshine island of Fuerteventura is one which will open up a whole world of possibilities. The activity options you will find available means that you will have a great deal of demand on your time and fitting everything in to your busy schedule will not be easy. Renting your own holiday apartment or villa on Fuerteventura is an excellent way of ridding you of unnecessary restrictions. Holiday rentals can also represent a considerable cost saving in comparison to other accommodation options.
If traditional, lively resort fun is what you are looking for on Fuerteventura, renting a holiday apartment is the ideal way to make the most of what is available. Corralejo in the north is the resort with the liveliest clubs and nightlife. Its older parts, however, are quieter and the music square has plenty of more laid back bars and restaurants. The resort’s water park is a must visit for family fun. Costa Caleta, in the centre of the island, is very popular with British holidaymakers and is ideally located for those looking to perhaps rent a car and explore. Costa Caleta is a more modern resort and although a little quieter than Corralejo, still enjoys a lively nightlife. An unusual attraction to visit with families is Chipmonk Mountain, where the small rodent population can be admired and fed by hand.
Sand and Sea on Fuerteventura

Renting your own apartment or villa will allow you the freedom to spend whole days enjoying beach fun with your family, unfettered by meal time or other restrictions. Hiring a car is an excellent way to enjoy the different types of beach locations on the island. Caleta de Fuste is an ideal beach for families, with clean sands and relaxed sailing or submarine trips on offer in the area. If more energetic watersports are on your mind, Cotillo or Jandia beaches are popular with surfers and windsurfers. Shore fishing is available around the island and boat fishing day trips are available from both Corralejo and Caleta.
It is not only water sports which are available on Fuerteventura. The island now has two golf courses, at Costa Caleta and at Las Playitas, in the south of the island. Bikes and mountain bikes are available to hire as an excellent means of exploring as well has having energetic fun. Beach kiting instruction is available for any daredevils and tennis is popular around the island.
