Very gay friendly.
We liked the beach in Nice. Yes, smooth larger stones, but the water was great for swimming and it was a lot of fun. More people and more vibrant, yet never terribly crowded when we were there in June.

... airport travellers and is luggage friendly . It runs ... ... you have to leave the airport perimeter and cross Promenade des Anglais by an underpass to the 'Promenade' stop. it is not luggage friendly and as you are travelling at Film Festival time could be crowded. It is also much slower..

... fairly busy with commuters, tourists and schoolkids even without a load of tourists being decanted onto it as used to happen. But now that accumulation of assorted suitcases, backpacks, bedrolls, suitcarriers and even pet carriers that used to roll around the floor of the bus will be mercifully absent.
