So having selected Portsmouth over South., can anyone suggest a self-catering apartment we could rent for the five days?

... much bigger choice of accomm in PORTSMOUTH. From Trip Ad, there are about 26 choices for self catering apartments in Ports v 5 in South. That seems strange as I had thought that Southamp. is a bigger town and a more important transport hub. Or am I wrong about that ... more

... is possible to find serviced apartments, however I have found these to be expensive in relation to hotels. It too attracts holiday makers but in the main those seeking just a few days to walk the walls, hop over to the isle of wight etc and of course cruise passengers ... more

as an alternative to a night in a hotel and then having to get to a launderette there are self catering apartments available, might be worth an email to see how much they cost
