In the apartment no-one apparently though travelers would need hanging racks/drawers and the kitchen bench was freestanding ie.not nailed down. Cooking was difficult with a lack of necessary pots/pans etc and forget coffee mugs.

... was turned into the penthouse apartment when it was rennovated for this season. The nearest lifts to Hakuba Hana are the Kokusai lifts. I estimate that the total walk to these lifts from Hakuba Hana is probably about 300-400 metres.

... views from the upper floors are fantastic, they overlook the run and the whole of Hakuba Valley. The apartments are self-contaned but they will do breakfast baskets next year and there are other restaurants nearby. They do not have an English website yet but it should be up soon ... more
