We have been visiting Fuerteventura for almost 15 years and have always previously stopped in Caleta. After visiting Nuevo Horizonte last year for a couple of days out, we decided that we would give it a try. The Villa was fantastic with a generous pool, excellent facilities and some lovely touches (DVD's for all the family, games, etc). Communication with the owners leading up to the holiday was first-class and they supported our needs and responded promptly and effectively to our requests. Nothing seemed too much trouble. The property is well positioned in a quiet cul-de-sac overlooks both the sea and the nearby town of Caleta de Fuste, a short coastal walk away. Nuevo Horizonte (Costa Antigua) was fantastic for us, but others may find it too quiet. There are a handful of bars and restaurants offering excellent value ( a lot less expensive than Caleta), but all live music and Karaoke ends around midnight due to the residential position of the businesses. If you are looking for peace...
