We had six wonderful weeks on holiday in Italy, but the week we had at Le Due Volpi is the highlight. Our flatette was comfortable and spacious. The surrounding gardens delightful, and so typical of Tuscany. In the evenings we enjoyed nibbles and drinks on the terrace discussing our adventures with the other guests as the sun went down. On several occasions Heidi cooked for us and we all became one big Italian family around the dinner table. The village of Vicchio is close by and Florence is within easy access by train as are many other interesting locations. We enjoyed long walks in the surrounding hills. Heidi and Lorenzo are the most accommodating and charming of hosts.
