We have stayed in Apartment B3E on the Alto Golf resort, Alvor in Portugal two years running. We really liked the apartment and it met all our needs. There was enough room for 2 adults and our 3 children. The apartment is very clean and tastefully decorated. On the days we wanted to eat in there was ample kitchen equipment to cook with. We particularly appreciated the books left for holiday reading and the cupboard in the kitchen with essential supplies in. The gardens surrounding the apartment are lovely and peaceful, the pool is just 20ms from the apartment. We visited in August and were surprised that on each visit the apartments where we stayed were so peaceful and very often we had the pool to ourselves. Both Vau beach and Alvor beach were within easy walking distance and both are lovely beaches. We really liked Alvor town and you could walk there although our children refused and we drove down most evenings, it does say it is a 20 minute walk to Alvor but it took us a good 40...
