Have stayed in Portugal before and thoroughly enjoyed it, but this was even better. Definitely one of the best family holidays we've had.
The apartment was spacious and well equipped with more than enough room for a family of four. It had a toaster, microwave, toastie maker, oven, fridge, hob, dishwasher, kettle. BBQ and washing machine - all the mod cons you would expect to find in top quality accomodation.
The pool area was ideal for kids and adults alike. Loads of space around the pool and the surrounding grass banks were ideal for sunbathing, removing the need to get up ridiculously early to secure a sunbed. Spotlessly clean, nice bar and very secure, as a key pass is required to access the pool and surrounding area.
If we had one negative, it would be that the location of the site could be nearer to the centre of Alvor. However, we didn't mind the 20 minute walk but occasionally got a taxi back (4 euros max). It's worth the walk as we thought Alvor was a lovely...
