“Great Location, Great House,”

The Bella Vista Guest House is just as described and pictured. Sherry and Jeff (owners) were very friendly and helpful in recommending vineyards and restaurants. This house is a great bargain for a family or a small group. We used this as a home base for 3 couples on a 1st time visit to the finger lakes region.

It is an newly renovated old farmhouse and is in great shape and the 4 bedrooms are each ample size, each with a comfortable double bed. Sheets, towels, and shampoo are provided and there is a washer & dyer for laundry. There's also a coffee maker and coffee provided. There is a dishwasher and stove and gas grill if you care to cook; but enough really good local restaurants to never have to cook a meal.

The house is close to the town of Watkins Glen (5 minute drive), and there a whole lot of Seneca Lake wineries within a 10-15 minute drive. You could walk to Watkins Glen, but I would not recommend it as the road into town is quite steep and the shoulder...
