We have stayed in many holiday cottages and flats in Scotland and without hesitation would say that this is one of the best. Full of character, spotlessly clean, brilliantly equipped. Off road parking right outside the door. The conservatory/sunroom where you can eat at the thoughtfully provided table and chairs (kitchen also has dining table) is just perfect for any time of day. Bedrooms are comfortable and bright. Bathroom with shower was in perfect condition too which is always a major plus. Location is off the busier roads so sleep is never disturbed. Seafront and harbour just a couple of hundred yards away.
A fantastic find. Highly recommended.

Spent a few wonderful days in this charming little (actually bigger than it looks) cottage in Ullapool. Booking procedure was easy, friendly owner easy to reach and very helpful. Cottage was very clean and exceptionally well equipped and decorated for an older and historic property, there are steep stairs which may be an issue for young children and older travellers.......but, i repeat., cottage is absolutely charming. Very good appliances in kitchen, efficient hot water and heating system. Both bedrooms were bright and very well and atrractively furnished. Lounge nicely furnished with TV and video. Plenty of local info, books and games. Good attention to detail...this owner has really thought of everything. We ate mainly in sunroom when weather wasn´t fit for dining at outdoor (covered) dining table. Nice big garden to the rear. Cottage is very quiet and superbly located for exploring Ullapools many pubs and restaurants. Just a couple of minutes to the quay. Nice walking from house...
