The Arashiyama Hanare is a traditional Japanese "machiya" is located in scenic Arashiyama, on the west side of Kyoto. The train station (JR Saga Arashiyama Station) is from there it's 10-15 minutes to Kyoto Station. Arashiyama is a popular tourist destination in Kyoto, with it's beautiful scenery, the Hozu and Katsura Rivers with it's romantic "Moon-Crossing Bridge" (8 minute walk),the bamboo grove and the Monkey Park.

The UNESCO World Heritage listed Tenryuji Temple is an 8 minute walk away. Other temples are such as Daikakuji temple(It was the villeage for the emperor), Seiryoji temple, Adashino Nenbutsuji temple, Jojakkoji temple, Nisonin temple and Rokuoin temple etc, which are possible to visit from the Arashiyama Hanare by walk.

Other sights are very easily reached by the Randen line train, such as Ninnaji Temple, Ryoanji Temple, Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion) and Saihoji (Moss Temple.) Other nearby tourist attractions include the Saga "Romantic Train" old-fashioned dies...
