“Excellent place and base in Gion”

We booked Curtis" apartment for a 12 day stay starting 1 April 2012. We got lucky with the Sakura but we really wouldn't have had nearly as good a stay without his modern apartment in Gion. The apartment is only a 3 minute walk from the train line that runs along the river and takes you to the main centres...

I stayed here for 5 nights from March 27th until April 1st 2012. My husband and I were exploring Kyoto and outer regions and found this apartment through Tripadvisor. The price was great, on par with the hotel we were unable to get a booking in. It turns out this was just our luck - this apartment was WAY better...
