Our group of six stayed here over the new year. It was exactly as it appeared in the photos and was big enough our group. Jun was helpful in settling in and gave us a helpful map of the area. The location was central and there was a supermarket within walking distance. The house was a bit cold but we...

“Quiet place, convenient to attractions”

We had a great time at this machiya in June. Bicycles were provided for us to use, which made everything very easy to get to. Even then, the Imperial Palace and Nijo Castle are not too far to walk to. Nijo station is also close, so you have a convenient place to catch public transportation. It's in a pretty quiet...
