Nahariya is Israel’s most northern town situated on a beautiful stretch of the Mediterranean coast which has developed into a popular tourist resort. Its location makes it an excellent base for day trips to all parts of Northern Israel .
Outside the town there are a number of excellent beaches and walking paths. Nature lovers and others will enjoy the sites and beautiful nature reserves in the surrounding area, including Akhziv, The Bahai Gardens, Betset Beach and Rosh Ha-Nikra.
There is a good direct train service connecting Nahariya with Tel-Aviv and Ben-Gurion airport. The journey to Tel Aviv takes about 1hr 30min. The station is no more than a 5 minute drive from the apartment.
