I stayed here with my wife for three weeks in January. This was a nice, cozy apartment for the two of us while in DC. Eva was an exceptionally gracious, yet professional host. The location can't be beat, right on the U Street corridor, with a bunch of very high quality independent bistros, restaurants and bars. The apartment is only a block and a half from the metro-It was very easy to get around. Also, Whole Foods on P street is only a few blocks away, so you really do have everything you could need while on an extended vacation within walking distance in this neighborhood. Hence, this place is great if you want to stay close to home and relax, while still having easy mass transit accessability to all that DC has to offer. I work for extended periods of time overseas, and this worked perfectly as a home base for my last vacation in DC.
