What a fabulously well-appointed home with very welcoming hosts who communicate really well. Plenty of room and super comfy beds and lounge room. We loved our stay here so much - thank you, Amy!

Old world charm with modern comforts
We stayed at Glen Isla for a staff development retreat and it was the perfect place. Amy was a fantastic host, who communicated with me frequently with our specific questions.
The house was a treasure to discover, and we were constantly delighted by the old world charm that was subtly enhanced by every modern comfort. The amenities were so well thought out. Everything you could possibly want or need was there.
As a group that cooked every gourmet meal during our stay, we were thrilled to have kitchen that could keep up with us. The double oven came in handy! Amy supplied us with all the necessary starter pantry items, coffee pods, milk, firewood and toiletries. The bedding was luxury hotel quality (including electric blankets) and there was an abundance of towels.
The fireplace was already set up to be lit as we entered. The living area was cozy, and the dining table, huge! The smart tv was perfect for us to cast to. It really was conducive to everyone being together. Our highlight was the pool table in the garage. There were lots of books, dvds and cds. So many places come with bare bones and minimal amenities, but generous details like these make Glen Isla stand out as probably the best holiday rental I've ever booked. We look forward to returning!

Absolutely perfect for a group holiday.
We had 5 nights at Glenn Isla for our family Christmas get together for 11 people. The house was fantastic in every way. We appreciated that there was not only bedding for a large number of guests but also heaps of car space, seating around the table, fridge & freezer space and 3 bathrooms. We had a problem with a broken bed and it was dealt with immediately.
It was close to bush walks and a short drive to the lake where the children could kayak and swim.
We plan to return to this amazing house next year.

Very Pleasant
Loverly period home with wonderful verandahs and a quite location about a 15 minute walk from shops. Whilst the house sleeping accommodation is for 10+ the actual living and dining space is relatively small. The dining table is in a tight position and cooking in the kitchen for 10+ people would be tight. There is also only one main bathroom and a shower/toilet combo in the main house - challenging if a lot of people staying. Both are off the main living area. The beds are comfortable, pillows medium/hard (could not find soft low pillows in the house). Overall the house was lovely, however, glad the number of people who were coming had to be reduced. House would be comfortable for 5 people. Response and coversations from host was supportive. (Would recommend for small group, although quite expensive).

Thank you for your feedback. We have TWO full sized bathrooms plus the ensuite to the main bedroom in the main part of the house - 3 bathrooms in total. I'm not sure whether you didn't open one of the doors leading off from the living room but there is definitely another bathroom there. We have done our best to provide a range of pillows to suit everyone's tastes. Additional pillows are kept in the draws next to the bed. We would have been happy to help if you had contacted us during your stay. We regularly have large groups 10+ who stay at the house and are very happy with the large size of the house and amenities so I am a little confused by your comments. We are glad you enjoyed the house overall.

A perfect Blue Mountains home experience
We were a group of 10 staying for a long weekend. What a beautiful, character filled home, clean, warm and cosy in June, yet sprawling for so many of us. We couldn't fault the home and would love to revisit. Every comfort was provided.
It is a convenient walk to the Wentworth Falls track and the village nearby is lovely, smaller and much quieter than Leura. But Katoomba and Leura are a stones throw away and all so convenient from this home.

Beautiful and well located house
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Wentworth Falls while staying in the glorious house Glen Isla. It is located within a short walk to Wentworth Falls and gorgeous bush walks. The house had everything we needed and was very tastefully decorated. There were 13 of us staying and we had plenty of room and enjoyed having 3 bathrooms to use! The ground were lovely and enjoyed our fresh morning walks around the garden and then down to the Falls for spectacular sun rise! We would highly recommend Glen Isla when staying in Wentworth Falls and would definitely return to this beautiful home! Thank you

Perfect space for combo of ectended family.
We stayed here with our parents, siblings and kids and the space worked really well for the different combination of people. The location is excellent for bushwalking and the garden in gorgeous. The host also very generously re-booked us at no extra cost after our May booking was cancelled due to COVID. We're grateful for their generosity and can't wait to book again for another trip! There was a cold snap when we were there and it was a magical winter home, but it would be a great house in the warmer months too. Also had great amenity for babies - cots, high chairs etc.

Amazing large and well equipped historic house for a perfect family holiday
Situated close to the Wentworth Falls shopping centre, as well as many fantastic walks, Glen Isla is a wonderful family-friendly place to stay. Our whole family, including children and grandchildren, have stayed at this property several times and each time we have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It is definitely our favourite holiday destination.

Beautiful house, great location
Booked Glen Isla for a family girls weekend away and it was perfect. Comfortable beds, toasty log fire, central heating, lots of bathrooms, plenty of space, lovely large garden (would look stunning in spring!). Close to local walks and in a quiet location. Booking and further communication with Amy was easy - will be booking again.....

South Wentworth Falls is a whisper quiet historic area of the Blue Mountains - only 10 minutes drive of all the major tourist attractions (Katoomba, Three Sisters, Leura, Scenic World and more) but in a secluded and quiet spot to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. We are located only 200 metres from some of the most spectacular bushwalking trails in Blue Mountains National Park.
