Wow, what a location right on the beach with a large flat lawn for a spot of touch football. Nothing like sitting on the deck listening to a little "Adele" with a glass of Sav. Tapeka Del Mar is the perfect base to explore the many other places and attractions Northland has to offer from ancient Kauri tree forests to Cape Reinga. All major boat trips including the "Hole in the Rock" and swim with the Dolphins depart locally from nearby Russell wharf. The area also boasts a natural Kiwi habitat and numerous walking tracks. The Bay of Islands is also world famous for big game fishing and clear water diving.
