Firstly the pictures don't do enough justice. The views from the decked terrace are wonderful. Along with the sunken jacuzzi and the views of the alpine trees and mountainous background of Queenstown, the property gives a lovely sense of both light and space. This was by far the best part of our New Zealand roadtrip, which ended at the Chic Chalet. We were two couples travelling together for a few weeks. We loved this place so much we didn't want to leave (and even gave up a day on the ski fields so we could enjoy the place more!). The views are amazing...

“Mountain Retreat”

This architectural renovated original design classic home was a pleasure to stay in. We loved the ambience, the design and the warm, warm beds. The proximity to the ski field and the city, in between both was superb, driving around provides picturesque entertainment and great photos. The house had internet connection however slow and hot tub (great for after slopes)...
