This stylish house offered our adult family, some of whom live overseas, a great tropical break together. It's within 10 minutes walk of the centre of Port Douglas. It must be noted however that some of this walk is uphill. The house is private, spacious, stylish and beautifully appointed with views of lush green tropical vegetation, and to the sea. I booked it directly through "Boutique Collection" and stayed with 4 adult members of my extended family. We really enjoyed all the facilities including the pool which was exactly the right temperature and was not overlooked. Two of the bedrooms are in a separate building away from the main house and would be fine for older children but perhaps not for small ones.
The kitchen was well appointed with every conceivable item we needed to prepare our breakfasts, meals or to cook a barbeque. There were two dishwashers, two refrigerators and a completely separate pantry. It is also possible to walk to several good...
