The perfect location for an enjoyable and varied holiday.

During our stay we where able to park directly outside the flat, priority is given to the upstairs flat, but this was empty during our stay. If we had to park in the station car park it wouldn't have been a problem, as it is so close. We where worried that we might get a bit of noise from the station but you wouldn't know it was there. The flat is a little dated, as it's the beginning of the season we would have expected it to have had a lick of paint to freshen it up, and the outside cleaned and tidied, it has mismatched furniture, but saying all that, don't let that put you off, we did find it very spacious, comfortable and homely, the bed is king size, again we found it very comfortable. The kitchen is large enough, with all the utensils to cook a meal if you require, there is also a washing machine, iron with a table top ironing board, There is a little court yard off the kitchen, it is in the sun in the mornings, in the shade in the afternoons, The flats location is in a quieter area, only a 10 minute walk to town and harbour. 9/10 Tenby has lovely beaches, South beach is huge, it took us about 2 hours to walk the whole length and back again. There are plenty of places to eat in the town, from cafés to high quality restaurants, Plenty of places to visit in and around Tenby, worth a visit to Saundersfoot,10 minute drive from Tenby, Caldey Island, (before you buy a ticket check to see where you need to board, as we had to walk across the beach to get to the flatform, wheelchairs will struggle with this as it is about 100 yards) and Pembroke Castle, we went on the free guided tour with Pauline, she told the story of Pembroke castle very well.”

A number of issues
Those thinking of renting this apartment should be aware of the following issues:
1) The blurb said towels were provided. They weren't but these were easily bought locally.
2) The blurb said there was plentiful parking in the nearby station car park. Not so. During high season and if there is a big event (like Ironman) taking place, parking in the station car park is difficult at best. The car parking space outside the property is for the use of those in the apartment above.
3) A man who did not identify himself let himself into the apartment without knocking at around 10am on the Saturday morning in the middle of our stay and told us that check out time was 10am. We explained that we had paid for 2 weeks and weren't due to check out for another week.
4) The blurb told us to ring a mobile number to get the key code to get access to the property. No response despite voicemails and repeated calls. Sykes' Cottages, the letting agent, were very helpful though and provided this for us.
Have rented a lot of holiday cottages and never experienced the above problems. Will not be staying here again.
