Riviera Park (formerly Sandown Bay Holiday Centre) is a development of stone built chalets spread over a parkland setting contained within a former 19th century wartime-battery site.
The accomodation and location itself is ideal. The chalet was very well equipped, well beyond what we would normally have expected. Touches such as a bed guard for very young children, a travel cot, high chair are very much appreciated though for our own needs were not required as we had taken our own (as these sorts of things are not always provided as standard!). Patio furniture was available as there is a large grassed area to the front. Very welcome was the fridge with wine, beer and some milk! Just one very minor niggle was the digital TV which would keep breaking up - this was solved by switching it to analogue.
Chalet 184 is great value for money! If this one is not available, try and find one that is not located by the main access road through the site - further to the back...
