“Lovely, homely destination in the Welsh country-side”

I rented the Old Rectory as a holiday destination for a group of 9 young professionals who wanted the bank holiday w/end to be full of hiking, home-cooked meals and relaxing. The Old Rectory was great - very comfortable, fantastic cooking facilities and we really enjoyed the piano and other instruments that were there as well as the fact we could still see the footie to keep the boys happy. Would definitely recommend as a long w/end away.

We have just returned from a very enjoyable weekend at The Old Rectory, Itton, Chepstow. We hired the 5 bedroom house as a surprise for my mums 70th Birthday. There were 10 of us in total including the dog and there was ample room for everyone. On a down side the house is not easily located as there are no signs for it and it is set off the road so took us a while to locate it. On a positive note the house was very clean, spacious and well maintained and definitely worth another visit next year. My mum was over the moon with her surprise. I also wanted to thank the owner Sarah Griffiths who was very helpful during our stay .

We will definitely recommend this house for people who want a relaxing time in the country .
