We booked the Kade online - the booking process was simple with a small deposit required to secure then the balance was paid with credit card when we checked in.
We found the property to be fabulous. It is not right in the centre/touristy part of the city and public transport is required however the tram is about a five minute walk from the apartment, you never have to wait long and it takes about 15 mins on to travel to Centraal.
The location is great - canalside with lovely views (as shown in the photos) and there are a couple of supermarkets within ten mins walking distance.
The apartment is clean and bright, excellent showers and a bath tub upstairs (the upstairs bathroom was newly renovated when we stayed - Sep 2010).
This accommodation is suitable if you want to have a place to chill out in a really big and tastefully decorated space. Having said that you are still nice and close to the action! The Vondelpark which is amazing is only a ten...
