We stayed in the Fenice apartment for 3 glorious nights in June and it was the highlight of our European holiday. The apartment is smaller than it looks in the photos but every bit as beautiful. Rest is assured as it is on a quiet lane overlooking a small canal. Every day arround 5pm the canal is abuzz with gondoliers taking excited tourists past the window - perfect happy hour entertainment from the gorgeous windows that open right out. Letizia was a perfect hostess and we were given clear instructions for meeting our water-taxi from Marco Polo Airport. We highly recommend this form of transport to the apartment. The trip into Venice and along the Grande Canal was truly unbeatable. We were dropped off 10 metres from the entrance to the apartment - Perfect.
We will only be staying here on any return trips. It was fabulous.
