Previous reviews had made us fully aware of what to expect, so we had no surprises. The location is perfect for exploring the beautiful old city on foot, being very central, but at the same time, secluded enough to be quiet and peaceful. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops within a couple of hundred metres, and the main city attractions are no more than a 10 or 15 minute walk.
The apartment itself was comfortable enough for 2 people but I think 4 would be pushing it. Cooking facilities are no more than adequate, but would be fine if you intended to eat out all or most of the time. There is nowhere to sit outside in the sun if you wanted to. We visited in March when the temperature was around 20 c and it was a little cool inside - we used the supplied heater. In high summer I would imagine the cool shady position would be very welcome.
