To be honest France was way down on my list of holiday destination, but my partner (now wife) wanted to see the château of the Loire Valley. I’m so glad she persuaded me. We arrived just as it was getting dark to a very welcome bottle of wine supplied by Angela & Derek and a quick tour around the Dairy...

We spent a glorious week in la laiterie in the idyllic surroundings of La Vieille Ferme. Angela and Derek were wonderful hosts and were on hand for advice and any problems. However, the gite was well equipped and spotlessly clean. We will be returning.

This is one of the loveliest gites that we have stayed in. The village is very pretty and has the welcome addition of a bar / restaurant .
