We stayed in Poppy for a week as a base for exploring south-east England. It was a good choice. All was as described and as in photos on web. Owners were unobtrusive but helpful as needed. Rooms were comfortable, views very peaceful. Internet access never failed. Only problem was that we were asked not to use the washing machine in our apartment after 6pm, so we didn't disturb occupants below. We were out all day so this was a nuisance. We would have booked a ground floor apartment if we had known.
