    Bay Fort Mansions is a lovely Victorian villa sympathetically converted into holiday accommodation overlooking Torquay marina, Torre Sands and the sea.

    Ocean Shangri-La is a spacious 3 bedroom apartment benefiting from a 20m balcony with amazing panoramic views over Torquay and across the bay to Paignton and Brixham. The balcony can be accessed from the living area and two of the bedrooms and has plenty of furniture so you can relax and enjoy these stunning views.

    Please note: There is currently no access down to Rock Walk due to stabilisation work.

    All prices are in £ per week. Stays must be of 7 night duration in July and August. Short breaks (minimum of three nights) are available outside of July and August, prices on application. All prices include towels (unless otherwise stated on the web), bed linen, gas and electricity. Credit card payments will incur a 1.95% service charge. Properties in Dartmouth and Kingswear incur a 10% premium for stays over Dartmouth Regatta week. Properties in Fowey incur a 10% premium for stays over Fowey Regatta and Carnival week.

    How to get there
    Torquay has a railway station and coach station both of which are very well connected to London, Cornwall and the North.
    From the train station the property is a 15 minute walk, or you could get a Taxi from the rank outside. Alternatively, you could take the number 12 or 12a bus to Warren Road from the bus stop which is directly across the road from the train station.
    If you decide to travel by coach, Bayfort Mansions are a 15 minute walk from the coach station, or you could get a taxi from the nearby taxi rank.
    The nearest airport is Exeter approximately 25 miles away. The closest International Airport would be Bristol Airport, approximately 86 miles away. The nearest ferry port will be Plymouth, which is approximately 35 miles away.

This was the second time I've stayed at the Ocean Shangri-La. What hits you when you first walk in is the view from the two main bedrooms and the sitting room - these rooms that all have huge floor-to-ceiling windows looking out onto the bay and a big balcony linking them all. I stayed here in June with my family which included 2 young children. The apartment was huge especially the master bedroom and living room, plenty of space for the children to play and the views were amazing. The house was really clean with lots of amenities we couldn't fault it, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it. more

We stayed here in August 2011 as part of our very first visit to Torquay. We paid more than the average and we received more than an average apartment (I would call it a flat, but others call them apartments!).
