Even though I live nearby (Placerville), when friends come into town and we go to South Shore for gambling, we try and stay here. Views are great, close to tram, and also close to our favorite resteraunt.

I always look at trip advisor before I book a hotel so I feel I need to write a review. My husband and I took our 25 and 28 year old children on an early Christmas trip. We rented a 2bedroom unit that was very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with all necessary cooking utensils. Location was GREAT - Heavenly Gondola right there! I would definitely stay here again!
