My family and I decided to go to the Bahamas for Christmas this year and I am so glad that we did! I enjoyed being away from all of the tourists and being secluded but still had the convience of a grocery store and a pharamacy near by. The neighbors were so friendly and welcoming. The veiw was absolutley gourgeous and sitting out on the deck at night was amazing. My kids loved having the pool right out side to cool down. The beach was small, but very quiet which I loved. The renal was spacious and had enough room for my five other family members. All six of us had more than enough room. I hope I can go back one day.
The only things that I would have like to see improved are the water pressure and more cooking utensils.

Management response:

After Doug's stay a boost pump has been installed to improve the water pressure to more than a satisfactory level. More cooking utensils - no problem more

East End in the bay, unobstructed ocean view.
Follow Eastern Road until the end reaching the big bay at East End. The Townhouse is shortly before the Prince Charles T-junction East.
The island is 21 x 7 miles.
The airport is in the West, approx 18 miles.
Residential area in a good upper middle class neighborhood, very quiet and no traffic.
2 Min drive/15 Min walk to the bus stop.
2 Min drive/15 Min walk to a big food store.
2 Min walk to the Prince Charles Drive Beach and 10 Min walk to the Yamacraw Beach.
10 Min drive by car to downtown Nassau, Bay Street, and Paradise Island, Cabbage Beach and the Atlantis Hotel. Can also be reached by bus and walking.
Nassau, downtown, Bay Street, caters mostly to cruise ship passengers throughout the week and all shops are closed at 6 pm and Sundays.
Good variety of restaurants on East Bay Street and Paradise Island.
