Great wee cottage! Dog friendly
Lovely 2 weeks here. 10 mins drive to Ballycastle and it’s delightful coffee shops/pubs and fabulous beach. Short walk to dark hedges. Cottage has everything you need. Clean and well appointed. Anne is very helpful. We loved bringing our dog and would definitely return.

Home Away From Hone
Another wonderful fortnight spent at Charlies Cottage, Armoy - our first since 2019 due to COVID. As always, this well equipped cottage is a home away from home, we always look forward to returning and are never disappointed. Cottage is well placed for touring the Antrim & Causeway coast and trips to Belfast or Derry are easily achieved. Can't wait for our next trip in April 2022.

Comfortable Stay & Pet Friendly
The open plan lounge & kitchen has all you require with a wood fired stove & central heating. Good Wifi.
The kitchen has an electric oven & hob, fridge with full size freezer, microwave, washing machine & dishwasher & plenty of crockery, glassware & cooking utensils.
The double bedroom bed is nice & comfortable. TV & hairdryer.
The 2nd bedroom has a double & a single bed along with a cot.
Both bedrooms have ample hanging/drawer space.
Our dog, Remy, enjoyed the good sized garden. Ample private parking.
The cottage is alongside Charlies Caravan site & toilets & laundry block are accessed from a side gate adjacent with the cottage.
Exit cottage right & Armoy village is a mile away.
Exit cottage left & the North coast awaits you.
Anne is a lovely friendly host. Good communications from booking & throughout our stay.
Recommended.

Lovely cottage
This cottage has everything you need, it is very clean and very comfortable. We had a lovely stay here for a week and enjoyed the cottage and our stay in Northern Ireland immensely. I highly recommend both.

Home from home
As always a wonderful stay at Charlie’s, everything you need, close to local tourist attractions and warm welcome from Anne. Been here at least once a year since 2012 and never disappoints.

Thank you for taking late booking, cottage superb.
Thanks Anne, cottage great. Will be back, hopefully for the Armoy road race next year, perhaps before then.
TV a bit iffy, but I suppose a 52 inch LCD would just spoil the whole experience.

Relaxed, comfortable and friendly
Comfortable, clean and well equipped cottage. Especially liked the enclosed garden for the dog. A beautiful part of thr country. Lots to see and do, would come again to explore more of the Glens, walk more of the coast and revisit Rathlin Island. Owner friendly & helpful, as were all the locals.

The area is Scots Irish - the land of the Hamely Tongue. It is not a sectarian thing as the accent is common to all! It comes from the narrow bit of sea between Northern Ireland and Scotland, also the Plantation of Ulster. Hopefully you will not need an interpreter as most natives are bilingual!
The traditional music is also a mixture of Irish and Scottish and may be heard in most bars and hotels during the Summer months. Not to be missed!
