“Terrific break in peaceful villa”

My husband and I stayed at Chez Corney for 4 days in early June. The weather was fantastic and all the facilities provided made for a relaxing and stress-free break. We hired a car and visited Rochechouart, Limoges and Oradour-sur-Glane, the village abandoned after its destruction at the end of WW2 which was fascinating, if rather sobering.Very good restaurants are within a short car journey but it was great just to stock up on gorgeous food and wine in the local shops and enjoy eating in the sun.
The villa was really clean and well equipped, both inside and out, and the location is tranquil and attractive. We would definitely visit again.
