La Bigarade is a very pleasant villa with a nice pool and great views. The place is furnished and equipped like a family home so there was everything we needed, including washing machine and dryer, poolside barbecue and a good coffee maker. The property is in a fairly heavily-developed area with a large number of similar villas packed into the surrounding hills, but happily La Bigarade's location allows almost uninterrupted views over the countryside to the sea at Hyères - so once you're in the villa you don't notice the other development. We booked the place on less than 24 hours' notice, and the owner was very helpful in sorting out the paperwork, cleaning and check-in arrangements whilst on the road himself. Minor negatives were that the bathroom basin and kitchen sink fittings are a little tired-looking, and the quality of the bedding (particularly the pillows) isn't really in keeping with the luxury feel of the villa. Overall an excellent place though and I'd definitely stay here...
